3A - Last week of School, 2010

Subjects, Upcoming Tests and Projects:

Reading: READ, READ, READ - Get your child to read books over the summer at least 15 minutes per day, if possible

Spelling Words: Have students study 3rd grade words

Math: Review Multiplication and Division facts

Phonics: none

Grammar: none

Writing Workshop: none

Religion: Review their prayers and encourage them to pray on their own.

Social Studies: none

Science: none

Notes to 3A Parents:

On Monday, we will be cleaning the classroom. Please have your child bring in a small bucket and a sponge to clean their desks, cubbies, and other items within the classroom.

We will be watching a movie on Monday afternoon, have your child bring in a small snack and drive.

Tuesday afternoon - bring in board games in the morning. Field day in the afternoon with an ice cream treat afterwards. Students must wear their gym uniforms. They may have a water bottle as long as their names are on it.

Yearbooks are $21.00. If your child did not order one, make checks payable to SJS.

Field Trip on Tuesday to Rakestraws after Field Day. We will be walking to Rakestraws.

You can continue to use First In Math website until July for students to review their facts.

Don't forget to continue to collect soda can tabs and Box Tops over the summer.
