Notes: * On Monday, please have your child bring a small bucket, (a sand pail will work fine), and a sponge or cleaning cloth. We will be cleaning our desks, cubbies, and the rest of the classroom on Monday morning. * We will be watching a movie on Monday afternoon, so your child may bring an extra snack and drink to have during the movie. * Tuesday is Field Day for grades 1-4. Third grade will be at Koser Park from 11:45 - 1:00. Students must wear their gym uniforms on Tuesday, and should have a water bottle as well. We will leave for Rakestraw's directly from Koser. We have a lot planned for Tuesday, so please pray for sun! * If your child still has a Dress Down Day coupon, the last day to use it is Monday, 6/7. * 3B will be cantoring for the last mass on Wednesday. Mass starts at 9:00 instead of 8:30. * Congratulations to our spelling bee winners! Christopher Carroll, Aaron Coleman, and Cassie Everly!! * Yearbooks will be distributed this week. If your child did not order one, but would still like a yearbook, they are available for purchase for $21 each. Please make checks payable to St. Joseph School.

Monday - Cleaning & movie Tuesday - Field Day & Rakestraw's Wednesday - LAST DAY!! Liturgy 9:00, Dismissal at 11:30 Thank you for all of your support and cooperation this year. I have truly enjoyed working with each and every child, and I am so proud of how far we have come since September. I have encouraged the kids to stay active this summer, not only physically, but mentally as well. 15 minutes a day, a few times a week, spent reading and reviewing math facts is all it takes to keep skills sharp over summer vacation. I hope everyone has a restful summer, & we'll see you back at SJS next year! Please e-mail me with any questions or concerns. scavada@sjsmch.org |
