OTHER:
Thank you to those of who promptly sent in the required supplies/payments. I apologize for the confusion regarding the supply list. As noted in the letter sent home on Tuesday, August 26, if you purchased the supply box from the HMA, everything your child will need was included in there.
If you made your purchases using the list mailed home during the summer as a guide, it did not include everything. Your child will still need (for in his/her tote bag for Mrs. Vassey's classes):
another soft pencil case,
a blue erasable pen
a red pen
a ruler (Metric and English)
a glue stick
24 (or fewer) crayons
a highlighter
2 sharpened pencils
an eraser
a folder with looseleaf paper in it
if possible, a scissors

Also, every student needed to purchase from school their Assignment Book for $2.25, and the Spelling Test Tablet for $1.00. This was already paid to HMA if you purchased your supply box from them. Some other students are also paid; however, many have not yet sent in that $3.25. If you haven't sent it in yet, please do so this week. If you are not sure whether or not you have paid, just drop me a note or an email and I'd be happy to let you know.
Many of you have sent in big boxes of tissues; however some have not, and we will soon be needing them. They can be sent in at any time. We also appreciate any instant hand santizer and tubs of hand wipes you can send; we like to put them next to the tissues
.
Finally, I want to welcome all of you to 4A! Your children have been a delight so far this week, and I look forward to a great year working together!
Mrs. Connolly
