Welcome to French Language Class
Bonjour et Bienvenue!
The French Language class is taught in the 6th,7th, & 8th grades. Classes meet for forty minutes twice a week. The class is treated as a 'Special', like Art, Music, and Physical Education, and is graded the same way. This introduction to French focuses on conversational sentences, vocabulary, some grammar, and some French culture. For the school year 2010-2011, we will be using the textbook French is Fun Book 1. The texts will be shared but each student will receive his or her own workbook Cahier d'Exercices. The student workbooks used in 2009-2010, have been kept in the classroom. They will be returned to each owner, for continuation of work, at the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year. Some useful and entertaining links to help you along the way:
