Home and School Announcements: Volunteers Needed as Playground Monitors 11:00 - 12:30 Daily Monitors work indoors when too cold to be outside. Please consider donating your time once or twice this month. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated! Contact Donna Staiger at moongirl527@yahoo.com to sign up. Recycled Uniforms Closet Girls' Jumpers of all sizes are needed at this time. Please send in any jumpers (on hangers, please) that you no longer need. All other articles are stocked at this time, so please do not drop off anything else. The closet is always open, so feel free to take anything you need for your child(ren), even if you do not have uniforms to donate. Another closet wide "Drop Off Days" event will be later in the year. HOT LUNCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Please consider helping out for a couple of hours on any Thursday. Slots are open from 8am until 2pm. Contact Rose French for scheduling details at frenchhead@aol.com
Miscellaneous Information The purpose of the Home and School Association is to give parents and teachers an effective means of communicating with each other and to provide the structure wherein parents and teachers can cooperate in the education process. Parent volunteers conduct the activities of the association in keeping with administrative guidelines. All parents are encouraged to participate in this organization. Meetings are held monthly, and all members are invited to attend. Activities sponsored by the association include various in-school volunteer programs, Back-to-School Nights, and fundraisers to benefit school programs.
