Final Exams for Science are as follows:
8th grade: Wed, May 28
7th grade: Mon, June 2
6th grade: Mon, June 2
6th Grade is finishing up the Cells & Heredity Book. The project for this marking period was a "Paper Pet Project", in which students created parent pets with certain traits and then identified the probability that the offspring would have those traits.
7th Grade constructed full scale bar graphs that depicted the amount of rainfall in various biomes. They also included vegetation, animals and other unique facts about their biome.
7th graders are currently learning about river systems, freshwater resourses and wetlands in the Earth's Waters book.
8th Grade has moved onto the wonderful world of Chemistry this marking period. They will be learning about metals, nonmetals, the importance of carbon chemistry. Using patterns and predictabilitiies they learn about the Periodic Table of Elements, they will they will create an "Alien Periodic Table" .
