Middle States Association

Accreditation Update

St. Joseph School has completed our accreditation self-study and our visit from the Middle States Association team. This process, which began in September of 2006, has been an extraordinary learning opportunity. We have grown stronger as a community and as a school.

Our participation in the Middle States Association accreditation process has caused us to evaluate our strengths and weaknesses, and it has led to the development of a strategic plan that will guide St. Joseph School through the next seven years.

With the input from the entire school community, the following major goals have been identified:

1. St. Joseph School will demonstrate and maintain higher levels of achievement in mathematics computation as determined by the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills.

2. St. Joseph School students in grades K-8 will acquire knowledge of foreign language/s and culture/s.

At this time, we offer our sincere gratitude to the numerous dedicated parents, students, and teachers, who have given countless hours in assisting us in this exciting journey.
