Race for EducationThis committee organizes the major fund-raiser for the school. The 'Race' is held in May, when the children run a quarter mile track to raise funds for the school. The students send mailers to friends and family to pledge them in their 'run'. In recent years, the proceeds have been used to upgrade computer technologies and 'wire' the school to the Internet while linking all of the classrooms to a network. These proceeds provide much needed funds to areas that are not typically affordable in the school's budget.
