Wolfgang Candy Sale

to www.wolfgangcandy.com and entering our account number CU1861. Purchases will be shipped directly to you, and the school receives 40% profit from these orders as well! Wolfgang candy is delicious and is an excellent idea for Easter baskets and Christmas presents.

Annual Appeal

The Annual Appeal was established in 1992 to help meet the ever-increasing costs of the educational ministry provided by St. Joseph School. The goal of the Annual Appeal is to ensure the availability and affordability of a quality Catholic education to the children of

St. Joseph, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and St. Katharine Drexel parishes. The Annual Appeal is conducted in the fall through a direct mail campaign to parents, parishioners, and businesses. All gifts are tax deductible.

Coupon Savings Book

KidStuff... and More Coupon Books, families save money on clothing, shoes, toys, electronics, books, sporting goods, activities, food, and more. Examples of coupons available in previous years are: Bon-Ton, Ann Taylor Loft, Sears, Hershey Park, McDonald's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Ski Roundtop. The books are $25 each and using just a few coupons can save more than the cost of the book. St. Joseph School receives 50% profit on each book that is sold. These books are sold in the fall of each year.

SJS Wish List

At St. Joseph School, when you wish upon a star, dreams do come true. Staff and faculty often have hopes for items that will benefit the students in some way but are not necessarily included in their budget. St. Joseph School publishes its Wish List in the parish bulletins and monthly school calendars. The response over the years has been heartwarming. We have received many items from our Guardian Angels (parents, parishioners, and friends of SJS) such as stamps and copy paper to a complete set of hand bells and reading carts to help in primary classrooms.

SCHOLARSHIP/ENDOWMENT PROGRAMS

Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

BUSINESSES CONTRIBUTING TO THE BRIGHT FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN.

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) gives businesses the opportunity to choose how their state taxes are spent.

This program allows businesses to direct funds, which would go to pay taxes, towards the private education of Pennsylvania's students.

This improves a student's chance to receive the education of his or her choice, and it also results in a state tax credit and a possible federal charitable tax gift benefit for the business involved. Monies through the EITC program are managed through the Neumann Scholarship Foundation which provides tuition assistance to eligible students. For Neumann Scholarship information click on: www.hbgdiocese.org/default.aspx?PageID=9f7c3279.

Subchapter S-corporations or businesses that pay Pennsylvania Income Tax Liability Tax, Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock Franchise Tax, Bank and Trust Shares Tax, Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax, or Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax are eligible.

For more information on how to designate your business taxes to

St. Joseph's students, call the school Development Office at (717) 766-2564

For more information on the EITC Program click on: www.newpa.com/EITC.

SJS Memorial Program

A gift to the St. Joseph Endowment Fund is a lasting way to honor the deceased, express gratitude, or celebrate an anniversary, birthday, holiday, or special occasion. All donations are invested, and the income earned each year will benefit the students of St. Joseph School. The donor, and the person that is being honored, are registered in the

St. Joseph School Memorial Book and are remembered in the school community's daily prayers and weekly liturgies. Gifts of $100 or more are also acknowledged with a plaque on the Memorial Board displayed prominently in the Parish Life and Education Center lobby. Acknowledgement cards are sent to family members of the deceased who are being memorialized or individuals who are being honored. All gifts to the St. Joseph Memorial Fund are tax deductible.
